It is no secret that Christmas is just around the corner. Normally, I wouldn’t target this through my work – aside from the fact that occasionally my designs are wished for as a stocking filler. This year, however, talented jewellery maker Kasia Gasparski persuaded me to make a series of limited edition Christmas decorations as part of her ongoing project Julekunster, where she invites artists, designers, writers etc. to participate. You can see my take here – I call them Threadtrees, and each is knitted and crafted by hand, using leftover yarns from my garment production – with added glitter, naturally!
