Out of more than 800 applicants, I have been selected to exhibit at Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition 2016! For the event I have created a large knitted art piece ‘Blood Relations’, which is hand crafted using several manual knitting machines and fusing a variety of leftover threads and yarns from the textile industry.
The Spring Exhibition is an annual art event at the Copenhagen exhibition building Kunsthal Charlottenborg. It is one of the most important and prestigious open submission exhibitions in Northern Europe, held annually since 1857. The exhibition is open to the public until 17th April 2016.
