BLOOD RELATIONS

Blood Relations is a two layer piece knitted using several manual knitting machines and a wealth of different threads and yarns in various shades of red. All materials are left-over yarns from the textile industry. The installation was first showed at The Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition 2016. It has also been part of the exhibitions FAN OUT during Copenhagen Fashion Week and Ultimate Impact in Rundetårn, 2017. In 2022 Trapholt Museum of Art & Design purchased the piece for their permanent collection with the help of funding from Ny Carlsbergfondet.
