DECOLLETÉ – KNITTED LACE COLLARS

Iben Høj was invited to take part in a dogma project set by garnindkøbsforeningen. The brief was to create anything at all using a set selection of yarns and fibres – no adding to it. Iben created a small series of lace collars or jewellery pieces all focused around that part of a woman’s neck that used to be covered in old days, the decolletage. The pieces were part of a larger exhibition with all the contestants work and showed in several locations between 2012-13.
